The Hello Business Referral Guide
Iβve been coaching since 2008, so believe me when I say that I have allllllllllll the recommendations for your dream business...and I am here to share the love!
This is a dynamic page, updated often with new platforms, people, or resources. Bookmark it now and save yourself the stress of going down a Google rabbit hole for whatever it is youβre looking for - and know that those with an asterisk are current or former clients. I love keeping it in the family!
Big note: there are a few referral links below that put some money in my pocket if you use βem, but please know that I stand behind all of my recommendations 1000%. I would never post a referral just to get a (usually very small) commission...just, ew.

π Communities & Courses
Below youβll find a very curated list of courses, programs, and/or communities that either I have taken personally or that are run by dear friends of mine that I can vouch for. If you canβt find what youβre looking for here, scroll down to Services to potentially find a provider - who could have a course or community thatβd be a fit!

I went to the International Coach Academy from 2007-2009. While I got a great coaching foundation there (business building, not so much) I can't speak to the program as it is now - it's been too long! Which is why I recommend...
Courageous Living Coach Certification, run by my friend Kate. I've had multiple clients get certified via CLCC and had wonderful things to say.

Relay for banking, especially if you wanna get away from Big Banking.
I did all the research and have the Business Preferred Card, but you can pick from the Chase Ink Business Credit Cards. I thought the rewards you get are well worth the annual fee, but there are 2 no-fee cards that are worthwhile, too!

Iβve been using Mighty Networks for years & highly recommend. Great price, user-friendly, and well designed.
-
I know we all have Zoom fatigue, but thereβs good reason for it. Free accounts come with 40 minutes meeting time, but paid accounts are inexpensive and worthwhile.
-
Iβve been a Dubsado (<-- link for 30% off your first month or year!) customer for years, and they will replace your contract signer, online scheduler, invoice system, CRM and form platforms - all for the price of one of those systems (seriously, *how* is it so cheap?). Itβs a great place to put so much of what your business needs in the back-end of one platform, and automate your processes and systems way more than you do now. And your clients will love having their own portals!
I also started using Kajabi to deliver my courses, and it also makes a great all-in-one. You canβt use it for contracts or scheduling, but you can create and deliver programs, run your newsletter, make checkout + landing pages, and keep all your client info there.
-
MailerLite is user-friendly, has all the functionality you need (segmentation and automation, specifically), has a great free plan and will grow with you. Itβs my go-to beginner recommendation.
I personally use Kajabi since I run my course from there, and while the formatting leaves much to be desired, it does everything else I want.
-
Stripe is my go-to, since PayPal allows subscription cancellations from the client side while Stripe doesnβt.
-
I sell all my print-on-demand products with Printful and love it - especially since it integrates with Squarespace!
-
-
-
Later works for Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter and you can get a free account, too. I donβt love-love it but it gets the job donw.
-
Otter is fab. I import the audio of my call and then share the transcript while also being able to download the closed captioning file. Easy!
-
Thereβs no other platform thatβs as user friendly and makes your site look as professional as Squarespace (<-- use code LAUNCH10 for 10% off your first subscription!)- even when you do it yourself. This platform is what I strongly recommend to all my clients, and what this website is built on!
-
eWebinar is a wonderful platform but tends to break the bank, unfortunately.
Iβm currently starting to use WebinarKit - stay tuned for my review!

Dreamhost has been my host for yeeeeeears. Never had an issue that I can remember, and great customer service too.
